Animation concept art: Character designs

It's been a while since I did these character designs, but looking at them today I quite like them. Can you guess their occupation?

I made these without really thinking of specific characters in the script, just designing background characters. Sometimes a character will stand out, like famous actors in a crowd. There's just something special about them. Perhaps you can help me think about these characters, what do you think their occupation is? Suggestions are welcome, just leave a comment. Don't be shy!
