Animation concept art: sketches of military mechs

To continue yesterday's theme, here are a few more concept art sketches, also of more dangerous looking robots.


There are all kinds of robot designs in the film, and these are definitely more the type of obedient military mechs.

I would say the main difference with those designs I posted yesterday is that I didn't draw these from the front but from a slight angle. The good thing about the straight front angle is that if you don't feel like drawing the other side of the design (which can be a pain with intricate mechanical details), you can go into Photoshop and just copy the side you drew and flip it horizontally.
