Animation pencil test: Jasmine blowing on some hot chocolate

Here's a quick pencil sketch test I did for the character "Jasmine", just to see her come to life a bit.

I'm animating on the cheapest paper I can buy, which I used a standard office perforator to punch holes in, in combination with a home-made "peg bar" and a standard lightbox you can buy at any art supply shop. The result is surprisingly stable. I hope you think she's cute. It's really a very simple process, but it's pleasant to work on paper. It gives you more control. Of course the main downside is that it's more difficult to see a preview of your animation. That's the big advantage of doing it on a computer. This is fun though.
