This is a windmill that I modeled some time ago. I decided to give it a little scene to star in.
In terms of materials, it's textured using blended box mapping, with texture coordinates generated by the object itself. Same for the trees, I didn't want to waste time UV-unwrapping things. The snow is a procedural material and the starry background is from CGtextures.com. I like the way the light creates an almost 2D effect with the snow landscape, it looks somewhat stylised.
